SRC Weissreitter
This release from the SRC line features yet another SRW Original Generation character. I am not sure, but besides the deformer series ver., I think this is the first time we get a diecast rendition of Weissreitter, and an original and not super deformed ver. at that.
As expected from a super robot chogokin release. Weissreitter features multiple points of articulation and has diecast metal parts on the inner shoulders, inner feet, hip joints and some parts of the lower legs. The set includes multiple pairs of hands, the trademark long rifle, beam saber, optional "playtime" antennaes, binder back pack and optional wrist cannon parts. Weissreitter doesn't have any effect parts that come with it. And I hate how they designed the tamashii act stand adapter, It tends to get loose easily, and might be dangerous to display the figure with it. Bandai should’ve just opted to drilling a hole at the bottom or back of the hips just like what they did with the gear fighters, not only is it more cost effective, but it’s also more stable.
"Pierce Thru"
Not much to say about the weissreitter just that its yet another solid release, and one of the most anticipated SRW OG characters to date. I was surprised that bandai made a quick announcement and release for this figure, as Cybaster was supposedly the one in front of the line seeing that we have already seen prototypes of it at last year's bandai collector events.
No complaints though, I welcome this release, but it kinda raised some question marks on whether Cybaster is still in the mix or if whether it was totally scrapped and thus slated to be released instead in Bandai's ver. ka line..
