Just some thoughts about Bandai's Digiarts release Rockman X
Mario=Nintendo,Pacman=Namco, Sonic=Sega, Crash Bandicoot=Sony, as for Capcom their official Face mascot is undeniably Rockman.
Bandai's Digiarts is an off shoot of the sh figuarts line. While sh figuarts releases characters from TV shows, digiarts on the otherhand is dedicated to releasing characters that originated from Video Games.
I like how bandai executed the packaging for Rockman, besides the front window, the back features window grills that also shows the contents inside. The back art also includes some info about the abilities and weapons of Rockman X.
The figure, has a slight metallic highlight on the darker blue parts of the armor. Plus it also sports clear translucent and reflective parts on Rockmans ears, forehead, Xbuster, and the bottom soles of the feet. Just like sh figuarts releases, digiarts rockman features superb poseability and articulation and a new style of joints with tubular cover to hide the hinges.
Rockman Dash! while I wouldn't necessarily call it diecast parts, its interesting to note that the reflector parts behind the translucent parts on the feet arent just silver painted plastic but rather real metal washer like buttons, perhaps it also serves as an added weight for stability and balance to the figure. Also included is his regular forearm as well as two pairs of hands, closed and open palms. The Xbuster can be placed either on his right or left arms.
Rapid fire effect part, one of the cooler accessories included with Rockman is this triple shot fire effect, the middle shot effect can be rotated for variable display alternatives. He also comes with three face expressions of passive, pressured and shouting/battle cry faces.
Charge up X buster, another fire effect accessory, this one is a big concentrated fireball shot that is so reminiscent of the Rockman X gameplay.
